Film Illiterate, wherein the proprietor records movies seen, and sporadic progress through assorted lists of the "best". Originally started after regretfully renting something forgettable for the third time. I've forgotten what, but never again! A tedious endeavour since 2005. Hello. 🙂
They should've really called this "The Foreman" or something, to join the long line of occupational action flicks like The Beekeeper, Cleaner and The Baker. Anyway, Levon Cade (Jason Statham) is a kind of John Wick boogeyman turned construction guy, who returns to his violent roots when his boss's daughter is kidnapped by sex-traffickers.
It's not just dumb, like Statham's last stupid outing with David Ayer, but not even fun: self-serious as well as dumb, and so badly paced they seem to have added an altercation with completely unrelated antagonists early on to avoid the audience tuning out.
