"Is this the end of Rico?" If it was, it was also the beginning of the gangster-flick craze of the early 30s. That trivium and a great performance from Edward G. Robinson are just about the only reasons left to bother with Little Caesar, unfortunately -- Scarface tells a similar story, but does it better in every possible respect.
