Film Illiterate, wherein the proprietor records movies seen, and sporadic progress through assorted lists of the "best". Originally started after regretfully renting something forgettable for the third time. I've forgotten what, but never again! A tedious endeavour since 2005. Hello. 🙂
Great detective story set in a wartime hospital. This one is very much in the Agatha Christie mould; Inspector Cockrill (Alastair Sim) finds the clues and then tricks the killer into revealing themselves in a conclusion filled with little red herrings. Perhaps the best part is the unexpected humour of it: Cockrill brings black humour to what otherwise feels rather melodramatic. Very enjoyable.
