Film Illiterate, wherein the proprietor records movies seen, and sporadic progress through assorted lists of the "best". Originally started after regretfully renting something forgettable for the third time. I've forgotten what, but never again! A tedious endeavour since 2005. Hello. 🙂
Mel Brooks' parody of Dracula in general, but also very specifically Francis Ford Coppola's 1992 adaptation. Viewed that way, even the terrible accents are a deliberate joke -- I particularly like Amy Yasbeck (Mina) reprising her exaggerated Maid Marian from Men in Tights. Because Leslie Nielsen was cast as Dracula I always remember this one as a Zucker Abrams Zucker joint rather than Mel Brooks -- funny but without the same density of gags.
