Film Illiterate, wherein the proprietor records movies seen, and sporadic progress through assorted lists of the "best". Originally started after regretfully renting something forgettable for the third time. I've forgotten what, but never again! A tedious endeavour since 2005. Hello. 🙂
Accomplished debut feature from director Shannon Murphy, following the relationship between seriously ill high-school girl Milla (Eliza Scanlen) and Moses (Toby Wallace), a mid-20s boy from the wrong side of the tracks. Sensitive, raw, real, and heartwrenching, with the best soundtrack I've heard in a film in years. Great performances. Wonderful.
