Film Illiterate, wherein the proprietor records movies seen, and sporadic progress through assorted lists of the "best". Originally started after regretfully renting something forgettable for the third time. I've forgotten what, but never again! A tedious endeavour since 2005. Hello. 🙂
Excellent character-driven caper from Steven Soderbergh, based on a novel by Elmore Leonard. Jack Foley (a charming George Clooney) meets US Marshal Karen Sisco (an unrecognizable -- in a good way -- Jennifer Lopez) while escaping from prison, and their low-key romance becomes intertwined with their work: his heist, her pursuit.
A less smarmy prototype for Soderbergh and Clooney's Ocean's Eleven reboot, it's great fun: dark comedy with a bit of heart.
