Excellent Ealing comedy about a young inventor (Alec Guinness) who creates an indestructible, dirt-repelling fabric. Naturally, there are many in opposition to any technology which could spell the end for the textiles industry.

Great commentary on science, progress, capital vs. labour, etc. Bertha's anti-capitalist rhetoric is hilarious. See it!
