Film Illiterate, wherein the proprietor records movies seen, and sporadic progress through assorted lists of the "best". Originally started after regretfully renting something forgettable for the third time. I've forgotten what, but never again! A tedious endeavour since 2005. Hello. 🙂
Another superb take on the old "my child is the antichrist" Jerry Springer mainstay, this time with Robert Thorn (Gregory Peck) suspicious of his adopted son Damien. Like the superior Rosemary's Baby before it, The Omen is essentially a psychological thriller with a supernatural garnish. There's far more gore, but never gratutous, always confined to short, highly effective scenes of frank violence.
It's more than worth the price of admission, though I admit I appreciated it mostly for providing context to Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett's Good Omens.
