Film Illiterate, wherein the proprietor records movies seen, and sporadic progress through assorted lists of the "best". Originally started after regretfully renting something forgettable for the third time. I've forgotten what, but never again! A tedious endeavour since 2005. Hello. 🙂
My first Abbott and Costello film! Bumbling Wilbur (Costello) and straight man Chick (Abbott) are workers for a delivery company paid to take two new exhibits to the House of Horrors -- the real life Dracula (Bela Lugosi) and Frankenstein's Monster (Glenn Strange). Only very late in the piece does Chick see any evidence that Wilbur is not completely mad; much of the humour derives from farcical sequences involving movement behind one or both characters' backs.
Good fun, and charmingly "accurate", i.e. featuring the actual actors from Universal's horror stable.
