Genius polymath Lynn Belvedere (Clifton Webb) takes up a position as a babysitter and turns the town upside-down. Arrogant but as competent as he thinks he is. Hard to believe that a role like this was once enough for a Best Actor nomination, but Belvedere is certainly a great character. A gem.
