Film Illiterate, wherein the proprietor records movies seen, and sporadic progress through assorted lists of the "best". Originally started after regretfully renting something forgettable for the third time. I've forgotten what, but never again! A tedious endeavour since 2005. Hello. 🙂
Who's going to believe a talking head?
Good/bad so-(deliberately)-bad-it's-good zombie (?) movie, loosely based on the Lovecraft story. Unremittingly awful if taken seriously, the actors nevertheless play it straight, despite their ever-more-ridiculous dialogue. Jeffrey Combs is especially good as the maniacal Herbert West, obsessed with re-animating corpses -- apparently by injecting them with fluorescent dye.
Lots of gore, lots of violence, lots of nudity -- mostly female -- and a short but particularly disgusting piece of soft-core zombie porn, but constant hilarity. Magically appearing pants! Intestinal throttle!
See it, just don't take it seriously.
