Best Australian Film Winners

Winners of the Australian Film Institute Award for Best Film (1969-2010) and its successor, the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Award for Best Film (2011-). One assumes that they got sick of the confusion with the American AFI.

Two of the awards are for single segments of larger, multi-author works: Three To Go won for "Michael"; Libido won for "The Child".

This list is not ranked and is shown by release year.
