One of the few movies featured in Not Quite Hollywood which seemed worth hunting down, Patrick turned out to be an effective, understated supernatural thriller. Understated by by the standards of that genre, at any rate, where the most elegant examples are known small gestures like torrents of blood rushing down hallways.
Patrick, after all, could've made their heads explode Scanners-style.
Very well paced, with a great villain. Worth a look.
