How do you make a film about a man whose hobbies are reading, walking alone and watching trains? This is not the stuff that excitement is made of.
It's a character study: just a slow, gentle examination of three people brought together by circumstances which seem all the more real for their unlikelihood.
It's funny, it's moving; it's human.
Also: sexy librarian. What more do you want?
