It's been a while since I saw a movie I despised as much as this one. Pretty camera angles and quirky characters can't disguise the fact that it has nothing, absolutely nothing, to say. It's an angsty, emo journey through white middle-class suburban anomie, interrupted by (emo) song lyrics and (emo) drug abuse, and that doesn't make for genius: that makes for LiveJournal: The Movie.
