Oh, how cute.

Last year LiveJournal added a directory of schools, allowing users to mark their past and present schools for quick search-and-stalkability. Many of the schools are completely fictional:

It’s not popular with users who don’t want the directory polluted, but the worst problem I see is with a school that isn’t fictional: Roswell High School in New Mexico is a real place, but those listing it are almost all just fans of the show.
