Merry Christmas everybody! Have a free copy of Ark v0.11.
I’m the only one that uses it, but still, there were some stupid bugs in the initial release. It basically apes Mozilla’s normal page saving, so offers the same choice — save as “Web Page, complete”, “Web page, HTML only”, or as a text file. Only I’d hardcoded it to the second option, since it’s what I use.
There was a problem where background tabs weren’t logged.
It now offers a choice of actions if the file to be saved already exists, rather than silently overwriting as it did in v0.1.
There’s a new context menu item to archive images with Ark. Since you can do it without prompts and have the files automatically sorted, it’s faster than the normal right-click “save as” for archiving webcomics and the like. Still much harder than a simple script and a cron job, mind you, but useful in its own way.
